What a surreal experience... I was already at the airport in Australia, had slept for two hours when the guy next to me woke me up and said, "Bro, wake up, the flight is canceled. The plane hasn't even taken off." Then I had to switch to a new flight, and they provided a hotel. I thought it was the Sheraton at the airport, so I waited for 40 minutes for the hotel shuttle, only to find out it never came because the hotel didn't have a shuttle. So I used the taxi voucher they gave me, only to discover it was the Sheraton in Hollywood, which is a 40-minute drive away. And then, Los Angeles airport is quite strange; you can't just get a taxi directly at the airport. You first have to take a bus to a designated taxi area. So, a free day tour of Los Angeles... Does anyone have friends in LA?
