The developers of Bincode (a library for Rust) include a “Usage Manifesto” which blocks contributors who work in the military or for the “gambling” or “oil industry”. They specifically state that even bug reports, from those groups, will not be accepted. These Rust developers end their Usage Manifesto with the following: “If you fall in one of these categories; do better.” Discrimination. Segregation. Virtue signaling.
