I greatly appreciate the way David @davidgokhshtein stated this question. “I had a question from Bitcoiners, they wanted me to ask you what do you think about Bitcoin Ordinals? Do you think it helps Bitcoin?” The Ordinals community has some of the most hardcore Bitcoiners you will ever meet, yet maxis will ignorantly label us “shitcoiners”. Also, asking if Ordinals helps Bitcoin is a question the anti inscription crowd never considers. @saylor eventually answers the question with “The network is going to be most successful if we’re inclusive….” I wish he would have mentioned how the fees for Ordinal transactions help to secure the blockchain, over 10k BTC have been sent in fees to the miners over the past few years across all metaprotocols on Bitcoin.
